Child Account
How do I setup child email accounts?
|
- Open Outlook Express.
- Double click Control Panels folder to open it.
- Select Identities under Manage Identities under File.
- Click the New button.
- In the Type your name field, type in the email address of the child account you are setting up. i.e.. johnsmith@maplenet.net
- Click OK.
- Click Yes on the popup box that reads Do you want to switch to (the email address) now?
- The Internet Connection Wizard will popup.
- In Display Name Type in users full name.
- Click next.
- Type in the email address from step 5.
- Click next.
- In the Email Server Names screen set the following options:
- My Incoming Mail Server: POP3.
- Incoming Mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) Server: mail.maplenet.net
- Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: smtp.maplenet.net
- Click next.
- The next screen will ask for account information. Type in the password for the email address from step 5.
- Click next.
- Click Finish.
- Repeat steps 2-17 for any additional email addresses you wish to setup.
