- Click the New button on the toolbar.
- Type in the email address of the person you are writing to in the text field next to TO:.(You may also click on the TO: button to access a pull down list of email addresses.)
- To "copy" or send the message to an additional person other than the address you typed into the To: text field, type the additional email address in the CC text field.
- To "blind copy" or send a message to another recipient with out the main recipient or the copied recipient seeing the email address typed in, type the email address into the BCC: text field.
(Don't forget to check your spelling. You can access spell check by going to the Tools pulldown at the top of the message window and select Check spelling.)
- Type a subject for you email in the Subject field.
- Type your message in the large white box.
- Click the Send button when you are finished.
- If you are not online you will either be connected or prompted to connect to the internet.
- If you are already connected to the internet your message will send.
Be sure to check out Outlook's help files. They are very easy to use and are full of information to help you. Just press the F1 key while in Outlook.
